On 25.09.2023 we are going to have a photo walk in Kadriorg park. We are going to meet and leave for the walk at 16:15 in front of the Astra building. If you are late, please follow us according to the map.
I am planning to visit the following areas in Kadriorg park:
- Luigetiik
- Palace and the garden
- Park
- Japanese garden
- KUMU
The planned route is about 3.5 km and will take about 90 minutes.
Preparations:
- Have a look at photos taken in Kadriorg.
- Charge your camera batteries.
- Make sure that the date and time of the camera are correct.
- Make sure that your camera is set to shoot RAW+JPEG.
- If you want to geotag your photos, download a camera connection app (Canon Camera Connect, …) or Geotag Photos Pro (works with any camera, free for 3 trips).
Task after the photo walk:
- Upload 3 selected photos from the photo walk to the Flickr group. Write in the description of the photo, which composition principles you have used.
- Please upload straight out of camera JPEG files which contain EXIF metadata (aperture, focal length, shutter speed, ISO). Our goal with this assignment is to get exposure and composition right in the camera.
- Keep both the JPEG and RAW files. You will need RAW files when we proceed to editing photos in Lightroom.

Note on the weather:
In case of heavy rain we are going to have a first session about Lightroom and postpone the photo walk. In case of light rain, please bring your umbrellas.
